Who is responsible
Winter Labs Ltd is the data controller for this website. It is registered in England and Wales, company number 17474791, and its registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Questions about this notice go to hello@winterlabsltd.com.
What this site collects
Nothing by design. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads nothing from other companies’ servers and has no forms, which is why there is no cookie banner.
Its web host keeps standard server logs of each request: the IP address it came from, the time, the page requested and the browser used. Winter Labs Ltd does not use these logs to identify anyone. If you email hello@winterlabsltd.com, the company keeps your message and your address so that it can reply.
Why, and for how long
The logs exist to run and secure the site, and the host deletes them on its normal schedule. Emails are kept for as long as it takes to deal with the matter they concern, and longer only where a record has to be kept. The lawful basis for both, under the UK GDPR, is the company’s legitimate interest in running a working website and answering the people who write to it.
Who receives it
The site is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers keep the logs. Email is handled by the company’s email provider. Nobody else receives data from this site, and none of it is sold.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data the company holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write to hello@winterlabsltd.com. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
